![]() 1985 to Dec. 30, 2005 Trigger (a.k.a. "Surfer Boy") was a 16 hand, 20 year-old Palomino gelding whom we knew as a wonderful school horse for seven years. Trigger was a horse that had something to teach every level of rider whether it was learning how to steer or going over your first jump. He kept all levels of riders on their toes at all times while giving them a sense of security and confidence. Although we knew his conformation was not 100% correct, he was worth more than his weight in gold. Trigger had a trot that would teach you to keep your heels down, and definitely taught you to use the inner thigh, but a very rewarding canter. We remember Trigger as an irreplaceable lesson horse, camp horse, and show horse that deserves to be remembered forever like he will be in our hearts.
